I REALLY wanted to like this game.but spend your money on Tony Hawk 2/3 which you can pick up for $5 - $10 now. My son could move around better in Tony Hawk Pro Skater when he was 3 then he can with this game at 4.5 yrs. Also, controlling your skater is awkward.

With so many controllers available for a PC, I can't see how you can create a game without the basic functionality of being able to remap the controls. I have a pretty standard gamepad (Microsoft Sidewinder) and the buttons assigned to it are pretty funky. One of the big complaints I have about the game is you cannot change your controller configuration and of course, the controls are laid out differently from the default Tony Hawk setup. This game kinda skews away from how Tony Hawk works which made it hard for him at first.

My son loves playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2/3 on the computer and I thought this would be great for him as the Tony Hawk series can get kinda tough for a 4 year old.
