
Make sure the box: Turn off on Big Picture Exit, is not checked, so that you do not need to be in Big Picture when playing games with your controller. Then move down to the Detected controllers, select the PlayStation 4 Controller, and configure it. A message will pop up saying you need to unplug and replug the controller.


And tick the box: PS4 Configuration Support. Plug in your PS4 controller, go to Steam Big Picture, settings, controller settings. Steam has added native support for PS4 controllers.
